We were connected with Chuck via another real estate colleague who had worked with him to build her own personal pool.  She told us he was the best pool designer in town and boy, was she correct.  We were in the process of purchasing a new home in Chevy Chase with a blank canvas of a backyard.  When we first met Chuck, I can remember him telling us that he could build something special for us and that’s exactly what he did.  Our pool and surround is still one of the best we have ever seen and has made our backyard an entertaining paradise.  And our build out was nothing short of a challenge from day one.  We live on a very narrow street, making it difficult to bring equipment in and out, on top of the fact that our lot is narrow, but deep and had an underground creek running through it.  From weather delays, to a gunite shortage, to the pool filling up completely with mud from nearby construction just days after being completed and filled, Chuck answered every call and question with the most even keeled and calm demeanor and kept us at ease and on time throughout the entire construction process.  We now have a backyard that is the envy of the neighborhood AND have Chuck’s son Charlie taking care of the pool which makes our annual enjoyment effortless.  We cannot recommend Chuck and Aloha Pool Service and Design more highly.  There are other pool designers, and then there is Chuck – he simply is in a class of his own.
